Meet Ahmad Samaha, an Eastern Michigan Alum. He came into the Digital Summer Clinic program with an open mind and a desire to learn. What he discovered was an internship unlike any other, one that broadened his horizons and fit seamlessly into his busy schedule. The program’s collaborative nature and exposure to diverse industry professionals were highlights for Ahmad. Working alongside interns from other companies provided valuable insights into different digital fields and fostered strong networking connections.
Ahmad’s experience highlights one of the key benefits of the Digital Summer Clinic internship; its focus on collaboration and exposure to a wide range of industry professionals. “The different avenues the internship opened up were unlike anything I’d experienced before” Ahmad says. “It wasn’t just the typical internship with weekly meetings. We got to hear from other people and what they were doing, and we even had the chance to work with not just your company, but with all the other companies involved as well. It was very seamless, especially considering I was working full-time, going to school, and still making time for the gym.” By working alongside interns from other companies, Ahmad gained valuable insights into different areas of the digital world and developed strong networking connections, all while working and maintaining his hobbies.
