Meet Mandira Chenjeri, a junior studying Marketing and a 2023 intern at The Digital Summer Clinic. Mandira has always been captivated by the power of words and visual storytelling. She believes that content creation is a vital component in building meaningful connections with audiences and driving impactful outcomes for brands. Her passion for content creation and writing has been a driving force throughout her journey, fueling her enthusiasm for marketing and its ability to make an impact.
During the summer of 2023, Mandira worked with Ann Arbor SPARK, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing economic development in the Ann Arbor region of Michigan; SPARK serves as a catalyst for innovation, entrepreneurship, and business growth. During her internship, Mandira was able to thoroughly expand her skill set. Through crafting compelling case studies, conducting venue research, and handling social media campaigns, she had the opportunity to apply her content creation skills in a professional setting, amplifying her capabilities and broadening her perspective.
Reflecting on her experience, Mandira states that “The Digital Summer Clinic has provided a supportive environment that encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new challenges.” Encouraged by the collaborative and nurturing atmosphere of the clinic, she found herself able to take on tasks and projects that stretched her capabilities and expanded her horizons. Through facing these challenges head-on, Mandira not only developed newfound skills and expertise but also gained a deeper understanding of her own potential and resilience.
Mandira’s internship experience at The Digital Summer Clinic and Ann Arbor SPARK has been transformative, shaping her into a confident and capable marketing professional. By leveraging the knowledge and expertise gained from her internships, she was able to demonstrate her value as a strategic thinker and effective leader, ultimately securing the position of field manager.
